Frances Johnson Wilson was born to the late Irvin Johnson, Sr. and Mary F. Johnson Foster on May 16, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. She went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Frances was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She was employed by this same system for thirty-four years in Dietary until she retired in March 2005. Her Christian journey started with the the Roman Catholic Church. She accepted Christ at an early age. She united with the Trinty Baptist Church where she was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Dr. willaim C. Calhoun, Sr. She worshiped and served there until her health failed. She was a member of the Senior, Women's guild and Missions Ministries of Trinity. She married the love of her life Forrest Wilson on April 28, 1958. From this union they had one daughter. Frances had a passion for cooking. she was the family's cook and baker. She made the best of soul cuisine. she completed a cake decorating class at westside skill Center. Frances had a compassion for the children that were in need during her time of service. She was always about her Father's business providing and caring for others. Soften spoken and kind hearted, Frances had a gentle spirit. Her love and compassion for her family and friends will truly be missed. Leaving to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of fifty-one years; Forrest; daughter; Myra; stepson, Chauncey Wilson; three grandsons, Jerry Aaron and Davon; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Bree; uncle, William Jordon; two aunts, rosetta Jordon and Mdarygoodwin; brother-in-law, Woodrow Wilson; six sisters-in-law. Sandra, Lucy, Bessie, Etha, Glindora and Paulette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church ffmily and friends.
