Frances Wright was born to the late Joseph M. and Molinda Booker on June 23, 1934. Born into a Godly house, she would at the tender age of ten years, give her life to Christ at the Union Temple Baptist Church, now Simmons Memorial Baptist Church. In later years she moved her membership to Christian Unity Temple C.C. Shurch where her faithful membership was a blest addition to the church. Frances was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and prgressed to achieve her high school diploma. Frances was an active child, belonging to the Knights of Pythia. She continued being a part of organnizations throughtout her life, such as Jones community Organization, was an Adult Advisor for the Jones Teen Club and Parent Assciation. Frances met and married the late Henry E. Wright, Jr. in 1952. Frances would delight herself in her two sons, Curtis Washington and Henry E. Wright, III who preceded her in death. She encouraged her sons to be the best that they could be. She took pride in the fact that she was able to see her sons and grandsons graduate from their chosen colleges. Frances worked vigorously beside her husband in their endeavored business with Wright's Grocery Store and Snack Bar in Severna Park, Maryland. Her career led her to Waverly Press, Inc. from where she retired. Frances leaves to mourn her son. Rev. Curtis R. Washington, Sr; daughter-in-law, Codelia Washington; grandsons, Curtis W. washington Jr. and Joseph B. Washington, their mother Ann J. Washington; sister, Katherine Johnson; brother-in-law, Ira Booker, Sr.; sister-in-law, Peggy Booker; brother-in-law, Archie Barnes of Warren, Ohio; great-granddaughter, Neveah Washington and her mother, Dawiell Jackson; her devoted niece, Debra Jenifer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She had a special connection to Wilma Martin and Maurice Miller.
