Frank Richardson passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 26, 2026. Born on January 14, 1950, in Baltimore MD. Frank was a beacon of creativity, kindness, and warmth to all who knew him.
Frank was the beloved son of the late Frank A. Richardson Sr. and Virginia Sadie Richardson. He is predeceased by his brother, David Dorman. He leaves behind his devoted sister, Eleanor A. Cawthorne, his youngest brother, Gregory Richardsonand wife Cheryl, sister-in-law Bernell Dorman, his niece April C. Stevenson, who whom he had a special bond with in addition to a host of family and friends.
A proud alumnus of Frederick Douglas High School in Baltimore, Frank's passion for the arts led him to further his studies at the Maryland Institute of Art (MICA). Known for his extraordinary talent and eye for beauty. Frank created numerous captivating works of art. The community will forever remember him for the grand exterior mural he painted on the wall of the Enoch Pratt Library in the Penn North neighborhood-a testament to his dedication to his craft and his community.
Frank's career was marked by hard work and dedication as he juggled multiple jobs throughout his life.
He was an avid lover of jazz music and deep appreciation for nature and the wonders of God defined his life. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
