Frankie Lee Robinson son of the late Linthus and Lizzie Robinson was born on November 7, 1926. He departed this earthly life for his heavenly home after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Frankie was the seventh of ten siblings. He was a very active child and was known to be the clown of the family. He was always ready to entertain you. Frankie attended Tennessee Colony High School in Texas. After graduation he enlisted into the military at the age of 21. As a Corporal of the 38th Trans Truck Company in Germany, he was Honorably discharged from the Army January 14, 1949. Frankie met and married Eva Lucille Gilmore and from that union Belinda Robinson was born. There are two other children from previous marriage Arnesta & Gloria Colbert. Frankie was employed by Paul Rach Construction Company, where he was a Cement finisher until his retirement in 1991. He was a quiet man who never asked for much. Frankie was a very endearing grandfather. Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend leaves to cherish his memory; three daughters Gloria Colbert, Arnesta Colbert-Carter and Belinda Gains, two sister, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
