Calypso, but Uncle Frank to me, enjoyed watching TV with his brother on the couch, but most of the time the TV was watching him. People would call and ask where was my uncle and I would reply "he's in his favorite spot. In his younger years, you could find Uncle Frank stepping out for a night on the town. He loved to go to this Tavern by Hilton Parkway called Caton Castle and listen to Jazz Music. Uncle Frank was a Jazz man and I was a Hip-Hop fan, so our taste in music would often clash. He and I would be watching the Grammy's together and he would say "you call this music, this sound like some crap." You see Uncle Frank was very honest and direst and didn't hold his tongue. He also was an easy going man that didn't allow to much to get to him. Uncle Frank and I would have conversations and he would always reply with "It ain't nothing or That's Life." This would agitate me so much because I would be so serious about any situation, but he would always say the same thing. Recently I was able to dish it right back to him. He was complaining about how bad he felt, and I said well "That's Life!!!!"" He laughed and so did I. - Erica. He leaves to mourn; his son, Franklin; brother, Earl; sister Helen; devoted Erica; and a host of other relatives and friends.
