Obituary

FRANKLIN ROOSEVELT WALKER, SR. third son of the late Charlie Walker and Lula Williams, was born on October 23, 1933 in Manning, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Alphonso Williams and Andrew Walker. Franklin received his education in Manning, South Carolina. After completing school, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland. There he enlisted and served in the United States Army. He received an honorable discharge. After his release from the military he was employed at the Maryland Paper Box Company and Bethlehem Steel Corporation. Franklin found and married the love of his life, Eller Johnson. Eller had two sons and two daughters. In later years, another son Frank Jr. and daughter Eve were born. Eller departed from this life on February 5, 2011. Due to lengthy illnesses, Franklin retired early. He spent most of his time with his favorite hobbies of photography, watching television game shows and sports. He loved taking photos of everyone who visited him on his old Polaroid camera. These pictures were proudly displayed on his apartment walls. He really loved, his family and friends. Viewing Joseph H.
