Obituary

Franklin Delano White, son of the late Leroy and Alice White, was born on February 1, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on July 24, 2007, after a lengthy illness. ''Frank,'' as he was known by many received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked numerous jobs within the Baltimore area. After many years of employment as a Longshoreman at the Dundalk Marine Terminal, he retired. Known as a good and avid pool player, everyone knew Frank as a great sportsman. He was the life of every party. Whenever you saw a group of people off in a corner laughing, you knew Frank was there. He loved to dress and had a special fondness for expensive sweaters and shoes. He also loved to smell good. Frank loved potato salad and watermelon. Frank's hobbies were Pinochle, Bid Wist, shooting pool and fishing. As a young child, Frank attended Ebenezer A.M.E. Church. In January of this year, Frank repented of his sins and surrendered his heart and soul to the Lord Jesus Christ. Frank loved his children and often spoke proudly about them. Frank met Jean Harrell, and from this union were two sons, Franklin Andre White Harrell and Dwayne White, who preceded him in death. Later, he met and married Carole Polly Wilson. From this union three children were born, Bernard, Dennis and Denise White. Frank later met Leray Ball and one son was born, Derrell Crawley. He met Joann Coates and daughter, Andrea was born then met Machele Medley and daughter Desha was born. He leaves to mourn; three sons, Franklin Andre', Bernard and Dennis White; three daughters, Denise White, Andrea Paige and Desha; two sons-in-law; daughter-in-law, Letitia White; five sisters, Esther Hines, Leeann, Phrefiniece, Debra, Zorita and an adopted sister, Hilda Haywood; brother, Reginald White; two brothers-in-las, Miguel Hines and Daniel Haywood; sister-in-law, Lucy White; thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, including a special cousin, William Robinson Skippy; and three special friends, Beverly and Mack McKinney and Reverend Rodney Laws.
