Obituary

Freddie Parker, son of the late John Parker Sr. and Amanda Devine Parker, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 20, 1942. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Johns Hopkins Hospital after a lengthy illness. Freddie had four brothers who preceded him in death; Earl Parker, John Parker, Earnest Parker, Wilbert Parker, and one sister, Fannie Mae Parker-Dickerson. Freddie accepted Christ at an early age; he attended Baltimore City Public Schools and later became employed for, Baltimore City Public Works. Freddie also worked other odd jobs. He enjoyed all sorts of sports; very artistic, enjoyed drawing portraits, and loved being surrounded by family and friends. He was married to the former Silvia William; andfrom that union there were three children. One son, Freddie Parker Jr. of Baltimore, two daughters, Theresa Parker who preceded him in death, and Joy Parker- Newman who preceded him in death. Freddie will be missed by all! He leave to cherish his memories; his son, Freddie Parker Jr., step son, Ira Williams, six grandchildren, two sisters, Elizabeth Parker-Evans, and Rosetta Parker- Weeks, one brother in law, Angelo Evans, one sister-in- law, Elrica Parker, a host of nieces, nephews, and, other families, and friends.
