FREDERICK EDWARD WASHINGTON, SR., son of the late
George and Alice Washington, was born on July 25, 1938. He
transitioned to eternal rest on November 26, 2015.
He was educated in the Baltimore City School System. Throughout
his life, he worked numerous jobs. His most fulfilling and rewarding
achievement was obtained working as a Drug Counselor for the
Walter P. Carter Center for over twenty years.
Affectionately known as "Speedy" to his friends, he loved to
reminisce about the "Good Ole Days" at his favorite meeting place,
The Lexington Market. To his family, he was Uncle Freddie and
all agreed that his presence lit up any room he entered. He was
known for his ability to always dress to impress.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kris, son, Frederick, Jr.
and brother, George.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Larry and Kenneth;
five daughters, Crystal (Dwayne), Kenyatta, Kathy, Karol and
Cynceray; three sisters, Ruth Kelly, Barbara Reid and Florence
Higgins; a special niece, Tracy Thompson; a special cousin, James
Simms; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; a special
