FRENCH H. WILLIAMS, son of the late French I. Williams and Emma L. Williams, was born on May 27, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on July 25, 2013 at Sinai Hospital. French received his education at Carver Vocational Technical High School. After completion of his education, he went into the United States Army. Upon completion of his tours of duty in the Army, he went to work at Sparrows Point, after which he worked at the Greenhill Senior Building as a security guard, from which he retired. French married the former Bessie Smith and from that union, one child was born, Tanya Williams. "Frenchie" or "Butch," as he was affectionately called, loved playing pinochle, watching and playing sports, listening to jazz and classical music and hanging out with his friends, Buzzy, Sydney and Spooke, to name a few. Frenchie is survived by: his brother, Michael B. Williams (Norma); sons, Brian Carey (Crystal) and Redondo Brooks (Nicole); daughter, Chantae Williams of Detroit, Michigan; seven grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. His parents, daughter, Tanya Williams; mother of his two sons, Corrine V. Brooks; brothers, Dennis and Anthony all preceded him in death. Memorial Service Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
