Obituary

Our heavenly father called Furman Lee Holloway born on February 12, 1959, to the late Herbert Holloway and Lillian Holloway. He received Christ in his life and departed this life to start his eternal journey with his Lord and Savior on May 1, 2012. Dave received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked various jobs with last being Leaf Nurser, as a landscaper where he retired. "you name a job and most certainly Dave would have performed it." Affectionately known as "G" he loved his mother and his sister. "G" would often call out her Ma or hey Sis. Furman loved his wife and children dearly as well. Furman loved dancing and singing with the guys. Herman, butter-cup, Jack, Lil Tony and Tommy. If, you knew Dave, then you knew that family gatherings meant the world to him, more than words could express. Dave and Karen married in 1992 and out this union was born Furman Jr. Dave leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Lillian Holloway; Uncle Isaiah Briggs; Aunt, Louree Briggs; his children, Tonia, Matthews, Antonio, Maurice, Tosha, Cynthia, Evelyn, Tiffany, one step-daughter, Shana and the late Shawn; two brothers, Herbert and Bruce Holloway; two sisters, Ella Bailey and Lisa Jackson. Thirty-two grandchildren, who love pop-pop dearly. Two son-in-laws, Mannie and Frank; one brother-in-law, Anthony Bailey, Sr. and one sister-in-law, Renee Holloway; five nephews, Tavon, Richard, Chum, Santell and the late Anthony; two nieces Kela and Keisha. Dearly loved by a host of family and friends.
