Garland Delmar Reid Sr., beloved son of the late Inez Reid and
Robert M. Reid was born January 29, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. One of
five children, he departed this life July 25,2017 after a lengthy illness.

Garland was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System
and graduated from Forest Park High School. He was an outstanding
wrestler and lacrosse player. Before his illness, Garland was self-employed
and could be found anywhere in the city selling merchandise.

Those who knew Garland, knew that he loved his children,
grandchildren and family. Garland was a jokester who would keep you
laughing; a happy-go-lucky kind of person and the life of the party. He was
landscaping of which he was very talented. His memories as a thoughtful
person will never cease. The recollections of the love, and support that he
gave will always be cherished. Everyone in the family will have a missing
place in their hearts that will be filled with the wonderful times that was
shared with him.

Garland leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters Tyria and
Shavonda Reid, one son Garland Jr., one son in law Timothy, one daughter
in-law Tenisha, four granddaughters Talayha, Ni'Jae, Nevaeh and Nishel,
three grandsons, Christopher, Evan Jr. and Tayler, two sisters Doris and
Sheila, two brothers Alvin and Maurice, two sister in-laws Janice and Karen,
two brother in-laws Charles and William, a senior cousin Jean Mill Curtis
and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,
cousins, and friends.
