Garwin McKinley Davis, suddenly departed this life on December 17,2017. Born to William (Kenny) Davis and the late Sharon Davis, he was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and proudly graduated from Walbrook Senior High School.
Because he was such a people person, and being so multi talented he excelled in many different carriers. Gary as we called him, managed the "Too Fierce Hair Salons", was a no non-sense, very efficient and professional property manager for "TFG Property Management" and for many others property owners. He was so well liked and respected.
Gary was also famous for his sweet potato pie, potato salad and dou- bled eggs with crab meat and German Chocolate Cake He enjoyed host- ing friends and family gatherings and celebrated his birthday well each and every year, and was the family comedian.
Gary gave is life to Christ at an early age, and his early spiritual training was at the "Maranatha Memorial Baptist Church" under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Earnest Ross, where he directed the "Intermediate Choir" that opened several concerts for who was called at .. that time, "The Dynamic Melodyaires"
He later found his way to and fellows hipped with "Greater Faith Baptist Church" under the leadership of Rev. Leah White. In 2015, Gary was guided by the move of the Holy Spirit to his last field of labor, the "New Covenant Baptist Church", Rev Ernie McNair pastor and used his property management skills, to help secure the churches current location. He spearheaded many church activities and events.
Gary was a loving, strong and faithful man of God, who faced many health challenges with strength, great perseverance, grace, trust and unwavering faith in God and Christ Jesus.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and proud parents Kenny and Amelia Davis, 3 brothers, Keith and Corey Davis, Eugene Barksdale; 1 sister Barbra Wilkerson; 3 nieces Danielle, Jennifer, and Kaiya; 4 nephews Brandon, Andrell, Terrell and Zion; 2 great-nieces Jaila and Skyler; 1 great-nephew Ethan; 2 god-sons Jermaine and Devin; 1 god- daughter Asia; close cousin Michelle Womack; 3 aunts Dorothy Ross, Ma- rie Jackson (Carl); and Helen Womack; 2 uncles Hugh Acree, and Charles West Sr.; a host of other cousins, and many close and special friends and beloved pet companion "Mr. Bentley".
