Gary F. Dickens, son of the late Pompel and Gloria Dickens was born
on August 14, 1954. He departed this life December 31, 2015 after a
lengthy illness.

Gary affectionately known as "Skinny" attended Baltimore City College,
later entered into the U.S. Army, where he was honorably discharged in
1972.

Gary spent his last 18 years working for the State of Maryland
(Assessment & Taxation).

Meanwhile, Gary enjoyed listening to oldies but goodies music, playing
scratch offs, spending quality time with his beautiful and loving wife,
Kathy, granddaughter, Kloe who was the light and laughter of his life.

He leaves to mourn: his wife, companion, life partner, Kathy Young Dickens;
;one stepson, Kenneth M. Johnson Jr.; one stepdaughter, Carey Love;
one granddaughter, Kloe Madison Johnson; brothers and sisters, Priscilla,
Eddie (Rejetta), Jonathan (Linda), Teresa, Alma, Freda and brother,
Anthony Dickens who preceded him death. A host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, and three close friends, Vivian Jackson, Robert Carter and Jerome
