Obituary

Gary Johnson, son of the late Charles and Oldia Johnson was born



June 29, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on



May 2, 2022. He grew up in Baltimore where he received his education



and worked hard as an entrepreneur. He learned the trade of arabbing



from his dad. As a young boy he would work with his dad on a Howard



County, Maryland route selling fresh produce, fresh fish and snacks to



their customers.



He learned the trade of metal scrapping to earn extra income. He also



worked briefly with a business partner purchasing old, dilapidated houses



and rehabbing them for a profit. He was a free-spirited person always



willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed going



fishing especially with his oldest brother Sonny. He also enjoyed



spending time with family and friends. He will be sincerely missed by



everyone who knew him.



He leaves to cherish his memories: his sister, Pearline Garrett; his



daughter, Catrina (Mark) Robinson; his son, Darius Johnson; three



nieces, Shawn, Twan, and Monique Johnson; two nephews, Mark and



Corey Johnson; one sister-in-law, Reever Johnson; four granddaughters,



kasha Lee, Ra'Myah, Sumaiyah and Laiahnie Robinson; his lady friend,



Patrice and a host of other relatives and friends.



In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brothers,



Charles (Sonny), Clarence and Lance Johnson; his niece, Valarie



Johnson; his uncle, Samuel Howard and his sister-in-law, Connie



Johnson.
