Gary Jamal Raheem son of the late Hamid Abdur
Raheem and the late Tisha Shavita Raheem was born
January 6, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this
life on November 6, 2015 after a lengthy illness .

Gary received his education in the Baltimore City Public
School System . He also completedfour years at the
Community College of Baltimore City where his courses of
study was Business. Gary was also employed for several
years in Manufacturing and Construction .

Gary was a good spirited person, who would never bite
his tongue ifhe didn't think it was right. He loved all kinds
of good food and had a very hearty appetite. He had a
pass ion for music and was g r f ! .at at playing the guitar . He
loved spending time with friends and family and was well
liked by everyone he came in contact with .

He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter Leslie,
lovingly known as Sham all, one brother Stephen Raheem,
three brothers preceded him in death Herman, Ivan and
Andre, his nephew Raki who was raised as his brother; five
sisters Veronica, Marshelia McDowell, Jacqueline, Robin,
Sheba, one sister Teresa Carr who preceded him in death;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
