On September 2, 2012 God dispatched His humble Angles down to take Genevieve flowers home with her heavenly father after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 26, 1929 to the late Dorothy Flax, in North Carolina. Her family moved to Baltimore, Maryland at an early age where she received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. Her next task in life was working for Union Memorial Hospital for over thirty years where she met numerous friends and really enjoyed her job. she next met and married the love of her life, John Flowers, Jr. who preceded her in death. Their love life lasted over twenty years. Genevieve's pastime was talking about the Lord with her family. She loved god and often talked about the Lord, letting her family know how good He was. Her next pastime was shopping and finding good bargains, and boy could she find them. She leaves precious memories to; her two children, Gwendolyn Mitchell and Willie Gupton, Jr.; four grandchildren, Rodney, Robin, Talia and Randy who preceded her in death; six great-grandchildren, Terrance, Erica, Raven, Ryan, Taylor and Raven; and a host of cousins in Virginia and friends including a special friend, Robert Spann.
