George Franklin Bowens, son of the late Franklin Bowens and Margaret E. Fisher, was born January 16, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on March 4, 2011 after a sudden illness. George received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a young man George lived in New York and worked as a seamstress. After returning to Baltimore, he pursued a career in plumbing and handyman. George became disable after a lengthy illness. George loved the Lord and during a crisis he would say "Never Give Up". George enjoyed watching sports and he was a big supporter of his home teams "The Baltimore Ravens" and "The Baltimore Orioles".
