Obituary

George Franklin Bowens, son of the late Franklin Bowens and Margaret E. Fisher, was born January 16, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on March 4, 2011 after a sudden illness. George received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a young man George lived in New York and worked as a seamstress. After returning to Baltimore, he pursued a career in plumbing and handyman. George became disable after a lengthy illness. George loved the Lord and during a crisis he would say "Never Give Up". George enjoyed watching sports and he was a big supporter of his home teams "The Baltimore Ravens" and "The Baltimore Orioles". George loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him. George loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him. George leaves to cherish his memory: his children Georon Bowens Shantel Faulkner; Four grandchildren Georon Bowens Jr., Michael Bowens, Milan Bowens, Malik Jones, Three brothers: Wayne Robinson, Glen Robinson preceded in death, Michael Robiinson preceded in death, Dale Robinson, and Marilyn Smith: Sister In-Law Louvenis Robinson: a special cousin that was like a brother James Cheatham. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and Friends.
