IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George
Frederick
December 6, 1916 – January 27, 2019
God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not meant to be. So he put bis arms
around you and He whispered "Come To Me." Although we
loved
you deeply, we
could not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at
rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
George Frederick was born on December 6,1916 in Baltimore Maryland to Nattie
and Oscar Frederick. He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools.
Upon graduation he went on to
serve
in the United States Army, serving in World
Wars 1 & 2.
George met Shirley Anderson who proceeded him in death. From that union five
children were born; Millard (Eddie), Rosalind, Bonita, Irene, and Cheryl. George also
had one additional daughter, Christine.
George was an
avid
worker holding various positions such as dump truck driver for
Caton Chaplin Coal Company. During the late 50's early 60's he was an elite
Baltimore Arabber owning his own horse and wagon. He then went on to be
employed by a major construction company in which he was instrumental in the
development of the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
His favorite past time was sitting on the stoop, drinking his Milwaukee Best (beer)
and talking smack with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his family,
especially his favorite grandsons Gerald and Ralign (surrogate grandson) with whom
he enjoyed countless outings to the barbershop, DC, and his favorite place to eat,
Golden Coral.
On Sunday, January 27, 2019, God whispered well done my good and faithful servant
and called George home.
He
leaves
to cherish his memories six daughters Christine, Rosalind, Bonita, Irene,
and Cheryl. One son, Millard (Eddie); 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; his
wife who proceeded him in death, Gladys Frederick, sister Pauline whom also
preceded him in death, and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
