GEORGE SMITH JR., son of the late George Smith Sr. and Amillier Smith, was born November 30, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on February 11, 2015. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Smitty, as he was known, was called to duty in the United States Army where he served his country in the Korean War. He married the late Hennrittia and Euther Mae Smith, and out of wedlock from Euther they were blessed with six children, the late James Curtis and Don Jones, Reginald, Martin, Allen, Yvonne, and Yvette Smith-Lennon. Later in his life Smitty joined The Rising Sun Baptist Church where he served until his departure. Smitty, also known as "Uncle Ears", made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and devoted family man. He leaves to mourn: one sister, Rita Hopkins: three sons, Reginald, Martin, Allen; two daughters, Yvette (Andre) and Yvonne; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Rev.
