Obituary

George H. Tyler, (affectionately known as "Dancing George") was born on May 10, 1953 to the late Doris Rogers and George Tyler Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Monday, August 4, 2014. George received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He graduated from Edmonson High School. He worked in construction, until he was unable to work. George had many friends, wherever he went. He loved to cook his famous fried chicken and homemade potato salad. When he was done he would say, "I'm done all I can do, until I can't do no more. " George would give a helping hand, whenever he could. He loved to listen to his oldies but goodies; the Whispers was his favorite of them all. He leaves to mourn: one daughter, Shawan Tyler (mother Myra Dock- ins); later in life George met Amelia Santos, and they became one and been together for 20 years until his death. He also leaves to cherish his memories: four stepdaughters, Tammy, Angel, Lady, and Tyeisha; one stepson, Melvin; one daughter-in-law, Nicole; two brothers, William Rogers (aka Billy), Marvin Tyler and Jimmy (deceased); one sister, Joyce; two sisters-in-law, three grandchildren, eleven step grandchil- dren, three step great grandchildren, three nieces, two nephews, two great nieces, one great nephew and a host of relatives and friends and 2 special buddies, Amos and Darryl.
