Geraldine Delores Bailey, daughter of the late Waldron and Margaret Bailey was born April 18, 1927, in Cheriton, VA. She departed this life on November 29, 2020.

As a young child with her family they relocated to Baltimore, MD. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School system.

Geraldine worked various jobs, licensed beautician, Reed's drug store as a waitress, book binder factory and as a domestic worker.

Though she was a single parent, with the help of her mother, aunt and brother, she raised 5 children, Patricia, Jesse, Wayne, Larry and Tina.

Geraldine loved to travel, play cards and go to Bingo with friend Corrine. She was also an Eastern Star. Geraldine was "Mama Gerald" to everybody in the neighborhood where she lived for over 65 years. They loved her and she loved them. She will truly be missed by everyone.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina; two sons, Wayne and Jesse; two grandsons, Stevie and Ira. She's survived by: daughter, Patricia E. Loney; son, Larry Bailey; daughter-in-law, Roselee Bailey; 5 grandchildren Rosalyn, Charles, Larry, Melvin, Michelle and George; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, also one sister, Dora Hall of Philadelphia, PA. Nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
