Geraldine Jackson was born on March 12, 1944 to the late Joe and Tinnie Douglas in Sanford, North Carolina and moved to Baltimore at an early age where she attended Baltimore City Public Schools. She graduated from Southern High School and she was baptized and raised up in Shiloh Baptist Church. she was a faithful member and a very active member. She jioned the Support Mothers and Junior Ushers, and she loved to travel. She made many friends wherever she went. She worked for Superior Unifrom while raising one child and met the late Robert Jackson. They were united in marriage and they had one son. Later onin life she was employed by Joseph A. Bank until she couldwork no longer because she got sick. She leaves to mourn; her daughter, Jackie Williams; son Robert Jackson Jr.; four grandchildren, Latoya, Robert III, Victoria and Delisa Jackson; three sisters, Joanne Love of Baltimore City, Louise Utley of Raleigh, North Carolina and Mary Penny of Fuquay, North Carolina; brother, Mack Douglas of Baltimore; brother-in-law, David Love and three sisters-in-law, Linda Douglas, Shirley Doulas and Floria Troutman; aunt, Dorothy Ratliff of North Carolina; two godsons, Harold and Van; church mother, Mrs. Estella Melvin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including devoted friend Delacy Taylor.
