Obituary

On Monday, November 3,2014 God picked a flower from His beau- tiful bouquet and called her home. Geraldine Martin Lawerence was the daughter of the late Beatrice Martin Moore and Alfred Moore of Memphis, Tennessee. Geraldine was educated in the Memphis Tennessee Public School System. "Gerald" as she was known as, relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in her early twenties where she met and married Roger Lawrence. They had one son, one grandson and two great granddaughters. Also in her twenties she met her very loyal friend, Ruby Goings who was maid of honor in Gerald and Roger's wedding. Gerald was the first black waitress to work at Bicforts Restaurant downtown. In her later years she became a nurses assistant until she retired. Gerald was a very proudful and private person. She had her own little circle of friends. To cherish her loving memories: Donald Lawrence, Donathan, and Dione; two brothers, Alfred Moore (Arleen) and Alphonso Moore (Katie); one uncle, Robert Lee Martin (Uncle Bob); one aunt, Mary Elizabeth Martin;cousins, Rev. Theotis Freeman, Jean Louise, Lettie Mae Charlene, and Romell and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Viewing Joseph H.
