Obituary

Geraldine Warfield, was one of the cherished daughters
of the late Esther Ree Carter and Willie Dixon Sr..
She was born on July 1,1946, in Kingston, North Carolina and she departed on November 16, 2024 in
Baltimore, Maryland. After a lengthy illness, the lord called her home to rest and be pain free.
Geraldine received her education in Baltimore City public School system. She worked faithfully for over 40 years for
Polovoy Custom Cleaners retiring 2010. She was known for her dedication, hard work, and taking pride in what she did.
Family was everything to Geraldine. She was always the one person you can call on talk to about whatever's on your
mind. Baltimore Maryland is where she met her beloved husband Christopher Donald Warfield. They stood by each
other's side through thick and thin. May ,1965 Geraldine and Christopher got married and it lasted for 34 years.
That Union produced six children; Anthony, Christopher Daryl, Kelvin Sr. (Who preceded her in death),
Reginald, a daughter, (who preceded her in death shortly after birth) and Larry. She also raised her grandson kelvin Jr
(deceased), as one of her own, pouring her love and wisdom into him. On July 8,1999, Christopher Donald
Warfield was called home to be with the Lord.
Geraldine was known for her infamous cooking, always preparing
food for her family and friends. She also enjoyed when her grandchildren came over to visit. Visits from her grandchildren
always put a smile on her face.
Geraldine had a special bond with her sister, Carolyn Davis (deceased), whom she spoke with every
day. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Willie Dixon Jr.; brothers-in-law Alfred Davis,
Clayton Pinckney, and Odell Pinckney; and sisters-in-law Marie Dixon, Bernadine Pinckney, and Patricia Pinkney
and daughters in-laws Lisa and Cheryl Warfield.
She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren: Charnell, Dawnyell, Camari, Larry,Teresa,Theresa, Anthony,
Antwon, Tavon, Kelvin, and Shaniqua. She was also
blessed with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Among her beloved
nieces were Menyon Dixon and Pamela Davis, who held a special place in her heart.
