Gertrude Dolores Hack, was born July 21, in Louisville, Kentucky. Gert or Ms. Hack as she was affectionately called, departed this life on January 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Jessup and her husband, James. She moved to Baltimore, Maryland with her husband in 1959. She has lived in the same home for 62 years. Ms. Hack worked with The Baltimore City Public School System as a Substitute School Teacher. She was the President of the Allendale Community Association for over 25- years. She was a member of the Democratic State Central Committee of Maryland. She was a true believer of the voting rights and worked many voting polls to get people out to vote. She never had any children. She made numerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone. Gert leaves many friends to cherish her memories.
