Gertrude Delores Taylor, daughter of the late Idell Bennett: was born on August 22, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland. Shedeparted this life on March 12, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
She received her education in the Catholic School System of Maryland. After high school she gained employmentwith the Baltimore School System as a substitute teacher;and later she worked for Greater Baltimore Medical Center.She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member ofArlington Lewin United Methodist Church.
At a young age Gertrude met the love of her life, RobertTaylor. They married and out of their union two beautifulchildren were born; Rosalyn Taylor, who preceded her indeath and son Robert Taylor Jr.
Gertrude, affectionately known as "Mickey", was always ajoy to be around. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Gertrude made numerousfriends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her.
She leaves to mourn: her son, Robert "Bobby" Taylor Jr.;brother, Mark McForbes, sister in-law, Mary Rose Starr,granddaughter, Kiesha Taylor and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces,nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
