Gloria Ann Rose-Taylor,
daughter of the late Samuel and Mattie Rose, was born on January 5, 1955 in Emporia, Virginia. She departed this life on October 29,2016 after a lengthy illness.
Gloria received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System.
Gloria, affectionately known by family and friends as "Ann" accepted the Lord as her Savior at a young age, and attended church with her parents whom always instilled "God First" in their lives.
Gloria met and married the late William B. Taylor and from that union four children were born.
Gloria worked for Broadway Services for many years until her health prevented her from doing so.
Gloria was known as a fun, loving and special lady. She will be truly missed.
Gloria was proceeded in death by her husband, William Taylor, parents Samuel and Mattie Rose; siblings Samuel Rose, Jr., Linda Owens; two sister-in-laws, Betty Jean Molette and Susie Haywood; and two nephews, Aunrik Haywood, and Samuel Rose, III.
Gloria leaves to mourn four children, Timik:a Taylor, Tonya Taylor, William Taylor (Melody) and Joy Yancey (Trent); one brother, Gabriel Rose; three sisters, Edith Williams (Harry), Brinda Hall (Charles) and Kathleen Rose; two brother -in-laws, Pete Taylor and Wayne Taylor (Sandra); and three sister-in-laws, Latrala Tillery, Feasta T. Reynolds, and Sue Yvette Davis; Thirteen grandchildren, Kwontey, Teoshia, Shakira, Ashley, Troy, Moquan, Kennyra, Kenneth, Kenasha, Talia, Treonia, Malik and Brooke; two great- granddaughters, Kali and Brielle; a host of nieces, nephews and other relative who she loved to pieces and loved her just as much.
