Born on June 16, 1967, in Cameroon to Pa Lucas Mbah and Mami Elizabeth Anchi, Godlove lived a remarkable life defined by faith, vision, and service to others. A lifelong learner, he excelled in his studies from Presbyterian School Nkon through the University of Buea, where he earned his LLB in Law. His pursuit of knowledge led him to the United States, where he completed both an LL.M. in Law and an MBA at Southern Methodist University.

Godlove built a distinguished professional career, serving with ExxonMobil in Europe and Africa before founding Mbacam Insurance Benefits Company in Maryland. Through his perseverance and entrepreneurial spirit, the company grew to become one of the 100 Best Businesses in Prince George's County in 2024.

Beyond his professional success, Godlove was a devoted husband to Dr. Ophilia Mbah, a loving father to Mrs. Brenda Achiri, Lovette, Darlene, and Danelle-Ellen, and a proud grandfather of three. He was also a mentor, father-figure, and source of strength to his extended family, friends, and community.

His love for people extended far beyond family and business. As National Coordinator Emeritus of the Ngwo Cultural and Development Association in the USA, he played a vital role in community development projects, including the renovation of the Ngwo Palace. For his leadership and service, he was honored with the traditional title "Ekaah" — the light from the Guneku Fondom in 2023.

Known for his joyful spirit, Godlove brought light and laughter wherever he went. He carried himself with confidence and grace, loved gatherings, and inspired those around him to dream bigger. Even in leisure, his vision for opportunity never dimmed. A testament to his style and passion for people, he began building an event center in his homeland — a legacy that will continue to bring communities together for generations.

Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life of faith, courage, generosity, and love. His light — steady, warm, and enduring — lives on in all who were blessed to know him.
