Gonzales Gilmore affectionately known as "Gunny" was born in Baltimore Maryland on October 26, 1963 to Willie and Marie Gilmore. Gunny was a loving and affectionate brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Gunny loved to sing When he was a teenager he would often be heard around Aunt Min ner's house singing "Lord Give Us Time" , "No Never Alone" and "Everything Must Change" which was his favorite song. He was also extremely hilarious! Gunny enjoyed designing as well. Once he actually recon structed a garment by hand. However his prominent gifting was working as a free lance hairstylist. Over the years Gunny experienced many debilitating health challenges. He rededicated his life to Christ (witnessed by his cousins Chassie Marshall & Althea Carrington.) He became a member of Fresh Oil Church & Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Jaron Spriggs Sr. Gunny leaves to cherish his memories: Willie & Marie Gilmore (his parents) Minner J. Green (aunt),Aquilla Chester, Prince Albert (Zola), Willie T, Garcia (Debbie), Antoinette Hammond and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Service Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
