Gregory Zack Hines Jr. son of Gregory Zack Hines Sr. and Valerie Hines, was born on May 9, 1978 in Baltimore, Maryland. His life was taken suddenly on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Gregory, which was often shortened to Greg or O.C., a name given by his childhood friends, received his education at Southwestern High School in Baltimore. He was a hard worker and he was employed at various jobs such as the Restoration Warehouse, Giant Foods, and Bakers Express where he worked the night shift. O.C.'s hobbies were working on bicycles as a kid, and as an adult he loves working with electronic cars, making sure that they were in excellent condition for racing with his son, "Baby Greg". Gregory also loved to cook after mastering his mother Val's recipes, and often bragged about his well seasoned dishes, including his special barbeque sauce. He loved watching and building his movie collection, playing video games, and cards, all while enjoying his favorite drink, Jack Daniels. Gregory was reserved and laid back, but kept a bright smile on his face. He had a straight-to-the-point attitude and said whatever was on his mind, regardless of what people thought. This was his way of saying I Love You. He was alwayss full of life and happiness no matter what obstacles he endured over the years. Gegory was a dedicated family man, thanks to the values instilled in him by his father Gregory Sr. He enjoyed spending time with his son Gregory "Baby Greg". and his niece Ashley. He also looked forward to playtime with his newborn great niece Amani and nephew Michael Jr. Gregory was a man with a hugh heart who remained faithful, loyal, and devoted to family and friends. Gregory maintained many childhood friendships, and over the years established a host of new friendships. He will be sincerely missed by so many people. He leaves to mourn; his finance'e, Dememka Colvin; son Gregory Zack Hines III; father Gregory Zack Hines Sr; mother, Valerie Hines; sister Danielle Moody; two brothers, Ahmaan and Ahmad Hines; niece, Ashley Moody; nephew, Michael Davis Jr.; great niec, Amani Crewley; two loving sisters from another mother, Angela Wilks and Ivory Robinson; and a very long list of family and friends. We'll miss you, Greg!
