Obituary

Gwendolyn Anita Chambers of Baltimore, MD, fourth child of the late Chestina and James Chambers, Sr., was born in Baltimore, MD on October 28, 1962. God called Gwendolyn home to rest on Friday, February 19, 2021 after a brief illness. She was 58 at the time of her passing and the fourth of five siblings.

She bore two children: son, Harvey Lee Prince and daughter, Monica Maxine Mitchell.

Gwendolyn was educated by the Baltimore City Public School System, graduating from Eastern High School. She later continued her education at Baltimore City Community College, receiving a degree in Social Work.

She was always praising God and was a member of Southern Baptist Church

Gwendolyn, known as Mousie to family & friends, lived a life of joy. She loved to travel, visiting places like Cancun, Las Vegas and Motown in Detroit. She also loved to host Spades parties, attend family gatherings & social functions and spend time with her family & friends at her home. She loved to host cook-outs; give her a reason, and she had one. Thereby, earning her the name of "Cook-Out Queen".

She leaves to mourn her memory -- sister, Mona Johnson; brother, Timothy Chambers, Sr.; son, Harvey Lee Prince; daughter, Monica Maxine Mitchell; fourteen grandchildren; one greatgrandchild and a host of other relatives & friends.
