Gwendolyn Smith was born on September 12, 1955 to Lillian B.
Smith and the late Chester A. Smith. Gwenny, as we all knew her,
suddenly departed this life on June 18, 2016. Three of her five siblings
preceded her in death,_ Phyllis A. Smith, Chester Smith and Leslie Smith.

Gwenny was diagnosed with cancer but she did not allow it to effect her
good spirit. She was a strong fighter. One who never complained, but
smiled through it all.

She grew up in Baltimore, MD and was employed with Baltimore City
Public Schools for many years. Gwenny loved the children and they all
loved her.

In her spare time, Gwenny loved spending time with her long term
devoted companion Earl Luster, who preceded her in death, listening to
her oldies but goodies music and socializing with family and friends. She
loved the kids and many looked at her as a second Mom.

Gwendolyn Smith leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Lillian B.
Smith; her three children, Troy Luster, Terry Luster, and Tavia Luster;
one sister, Fern Smith; one brother, Dennis Smith; eight grandchildren,
Tyreese Fenner, Tamall Carroll, Troy Luster, Terri Luster, Adasia Luster,
Kyree Luster, Kloee Murray, and Amari Luster; one great grandson,
Kaleb McNair; her special niece Takishia Smith (Hannah); a host of other
nieces, nephews, family and friends.
