Hana Aaliyah Dixon-Mackey affectionately known as lou-c and Hana Mae was born on August 21, 1911 at Baltimore City Hospital to parents john and jacqueline Dixon in Baltimore, Maryland. She was suddenly called home to Heaven on Wednesday, February 25th 20 I 5 to be with God, nevertheless her legacy will always and forever be lived through the lives of all who knew her. Hana grew up in the East Baltimore area, her first church family was Faith Deliverance Revival Center. Hana sang on the church choir and ushered while attending the church. She was baptized at 2 years old giving her an anointed spirit at a young age. Her education was in the Baltimore city public school system. In her adult life she did hair and attended cosmetology school, also job corps obtaining certification in landscaping. Hana was very well respected and most known for her hair skills we called her hands gifted. She would help anyone out who needed it, she always demonstrated and stressed the importance of family love. She always spoke her mind in all that she would do and if she was in the wrong with something she would be the first to admit it. Hana also had a profound love for animals she had a cat whom she named lOVE her sister gave her a kitten whom she named Sir Tyson. They weren't just pets to her, they were her kids, they were family. Hana received her Maryland High school Diploma walking across the stage of Baltimore City Community College in 2014. She was the first African American female truck driver employee for the company Kidz Table INt While working for them she joined the Coalition ACN, which she was very passionate about She loved the fact that they fed hungry children in the corporation. Ever since Hana was a little girl she wanted to help the children that were in need. Her journey in ACN also increased her network, she got to know people worldwide. Hana also had her own unique sense of style. She loved to shop ... she was what we called a shopaholic. Her smile would light up the darkest room. She will surely be missed by her family and friends and she will never be forgotten. Hana is preceded in death by her mother-in-law: Mae Mackey and Aunt: Trudy Harris. She leaves to cherish her memory: Devoted husband Derek Mackey; Parents: mother jacqueline Dixon and Father john Dixon II. Grandmother Mary lorraine Kendall; Brothers: John A. Dixon III and Malcolm Xavier lawson and devoted sister Rasheedah Dixon-Martin. Step Sister's: Nichelle Bass, Terri Washington and Zedane Harden; Sister in-laws: Seiko Dixon, Krysde jones, Deborah and Donna Mackey; Brother In-laws: Tamel Martin Sr., Dana and Dwayne Mackey; Aunts: Nancy Harris, lousie Gonzalas, Terry Kendall, Kabrea. Kendall; Uncles: Randolph Harris, David Kendall and Gary Kendall; Nieces: Siyah Martin, Maiya Martin, janae Dixon; Nephews: john A. Dixon IV aka Mookie, Karon Dixon, jeremiah Dixon and Xavien lawson, who was also her Godson; One devoted God daughter Rachel Kelly; her devoted God sister Denise Wilson; Step Daughter Neisha Mackey; four step-grandchildren Breyonta, Tom'meka, Iakeema, and Sevyn. Cousins: Taiecha, Tonya, jasmine, Kim, Tarsha, Roberto, jamar,Kandi, and Obarine, Carrie aka Birdie, Poo, Chelle, junior, Herb, Dynesha, Tandre; Devoted childhood best friends Tomeka Harriston-lee and Wytesa Cooper.
