Hannah Lee Venson was born to Alexander and Lucille Shaw on
May 3rd, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on
January 20, 2016 after a battle with a lengthy illness.

She was born and raised in Baltimore City. She received her formal
education at Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. She was a full-loving
woman and loved to slap a smile on people's faces. She met and
married the love of her life, Henry L. Venson Sr., and from this union
came four beautiful and amazing children.

Outside of being afull-time mother and grandmother, Hannah loved
to dance, play cards, and sing. She also was known for being a practical
joker. She was kind-hearted and spiritual person, but stubborn and
feisty at any given moment.

She left to mourn three daughters, Mary Moses, Aretha Thompson, and
Deirdra Venson as well as her one and only son, Tarone Venson; one
son-in law and one daughter-in law, Marvin Thompson and Diana
Venson. She left behind 11 grandkids, 16 great grandkids, 6 siblings,
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded
by one sister, Mary Woodrup; one brother, Nathaniel Shaw; and one
