Obituary

Harold Phillip Amos, Jr. (affectionately known as Phil) was born

on September 21, 1973. Phil transitioned from this life to meet his

Heavenly Father on June 23, 2019. Phil received his formal educa-

tion from the Baltimore County School System. He was intelligent,

which was acknowledged by his becoming an Editor for his high

school newspaper. Phil also attended Ohio State University.

After completing his education, Phil engaged in multiple careers

including working in the food industry, a mechanic, a Resident

Monitor, a Mentor and for several years a Scheduling Manager for

Prestige NY. Phil impressed us all with his skills in the sales arena.

Witnessing his skill was a source of pride for us all. As a hobby,

Phil also ventured into selling cars and, due to his astute ability, this

also became one of his occupations. Phil's savvy allowed him to

sell cars sight-unseen to customers. Needless to say, he was very

good at what he did.

Phil was an outstanding, dedicated, caring individual with a beauti-

ful soul and heart of gold. He was the consummate comedian who

reveled in hearing laughter. Accompanying his laughter was his

unforgettable smile. He was an avid pool player who displayed his

expertise by winning your money. Phil loved his Mama uncondi-

tionally and did not hesitate to let the world know it. He loved his

two children, whom he proudly touted looked just like him and also

shouted to the world his love for them. Additionally, he loved his

sister and immediate family and always tried to find ways to show

his love for all of them.

Phil leaves to celebrate his life and mourn his departure his beloved

mother, Sheila Amos; father, Harold Phillip Amos, Sr.; cherished

daughter, Makayla Janiya Amos and son, Jaharrie Robinson; sister,

Shanequa Addison; uncles: George Earl James, III (Johnnie Mae);

Joseph James; Luther Amos; aunts: Jeweleane Oyesanya (Muyi-

wa); Carolyn James; Mary Amos; Cecelia Amos-Blanks (Clar-

ence); Naomi Amos; and a host of cousins, other relatives and

friends. Phil will be loved and missed by all who were fortunate

enough to share time and space with him.
