Harold Delroy Rawlings, Sr. was born on December 31, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life after a short illness on October 22, 2010. Del, as he was affectionately known, was one of eight children born to Otis and Viola Rawlings who preceded him in death. He received his education in the Baltimore Public School System. Afterwards, he served in the United States Army for three years. Del furthered his education by attendng the Community College of Baltimore. Del was conscientious and hard worker. He worked at General Electric, Kim's Mart and for seventeen years at Thompson Steel Company. Del loved and excelled in playing sports, art, photography and was a fashion enthusiast. He loved his hats! He was a true gentleman and was loved by all. He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Sandra Coffee; by his previous marriage, his son, Harold DelroyDel-Ali, Jr. and Troy Lance Rawlings; daughter, Charblise; sister, Brenda Joyce Johnson; two brothers. Alvin Eugene Rawlings and Anwaar Agu Ali-El; mother-in-law, Rosa Hulin; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Rawlings, Jean Rawlings, Mary Steel and Irene Hulin; brothers-in-law, Arthur Johnson and Zack Steel, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Ulrica Rawlings; four grandchildren, Brandon, Zakarij, Jadrien and Kenneth; godsister, Lucinda Cornish; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death, mother viola, father, James, four brothers, robert, James, Ronald and Ernest Rawlings, all of baltimore, Maryland.
