IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harry R.
Gross, Jr.
November 16, 1948 – November 15, 2017
Harry Rudolph Gross Jr.
son of the late Harry R. Gross Sr.
and Glendora Davage was born November 16, 1948 in Baltimore,
Maryland. Harry departed this life suddenly on November 15,2017.
Harry received his early childhood education at St. Peter Claver and
graduated from Edmondson High School in 1967.
For many years Harry was employed as an dental lab technician where
he made dentures and was proud of his work. He would sometimes
bring home the models he made to show how good he was. After his tenure
as a lab technician Harry worked different jobs.
In
or around 2007 Devron
(son) took Harry to the shop one day (Pikasso Kutz) and he never left. The
"Shop" is where Harry affectionately became "Pops". "Pops" made sure
every inch of the shop was in tip top shape. He would say, "its so clean you
can eat off the floors". Harry made sure Kevin, Wayne, and the other
barbers were good and they definitely made sure "Pops" was good. Every-
one who came in contact with Harry and had just a little small conversation
with him will miss him tremendously. We all will!
Harry leaves to mourn: his children, Tara Gross, Brandon Gross, Markiya
Quick and Devron Jones, Sr.; sisters, Linda Little (Bernard Little) and
Deborah Branch (Kip Branch);brother, A von Davage; grandchildren, Ger-
rell Shorter, Raheem Anderson, Brandon Gross Jr., Kareem Nottingham,
Emilika Hall, Devron Jones Jr., Makayla Jones and Dejah Jones; three
nieces, special cousin, Marvin Gross; his forever love, Patricia Quick along
with a host of cousins, family and friends.
