Harry James Patterson, Jr., was born on December 27,1941 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late Harry and Emma Patterson. He was called home on Wednesday, March 19,2014 due t;; a lengthy illness. He received his education at Carver Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Harry became employed at Knox Glass Company for 7 years, he then became employed as a truck driver for Aarid Van Line. He also worked for other truck line jobs until he retired. He married his high school sweetheart Odessa E. Harvin, out of this union five children was born, Lovell Patterson, Donette Patter- son, the late David Patterson, Leroy Patterson and Louis Patterson. Harry liked to play cards, going to the casino, house parties, play- ing lottery tickets and watching old western movies. Harry made sure food was always in the house and all bills were always paid because he was a true family man. If Harry had it, you askfor it, you got it. It was no questions asked because he had a kind and gentle heart. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Odessa E. Patterson; four sons, Lovell, Donette, Leroy and Louis and the late David Patterson; one daughter, Shavon Patterson; three sisters, Emma Crosby, Odette Compton and Spring Ferguson; three brothers, Lenwood Patterson, Winter Patter- son and late brother, Robin Patterson Sr.; three daughters-in-law, Melissa, Zena, and Joan Patterson; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other rela- tives and friends.
