Life Reflections HARRY JOSEPH NEWTON, beloved son of the late Wm. Harry and Florence Newton, peacefully departed this life at 5:11pm on September 8, 2011 at Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland surrounded by his family in prayer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Lawrence, Michael, and William Newton. Harry was born on September 7, 1931. He attended St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church and School where he served as an altar boy and received his elementary education. He continued his education at Frederick Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland and served in the United States Army. He was employed by the American Red Cross until his retirement. Harry enjoyed listening to music and watching sports. His favorite sports were Orioles baseball team and the Ravens football team. He was a people person. He could talk to anyone about anything. Harry was also preceded in death by his late wife, Delores and son, Mark. To hold dear to his life he leaves his devoted sisters, Katherine C. Jackson and Lorraine N. Caldwell; brother-in-law, Roosevelt Caldwell; three nieces, Denise Jackson Lee, Kionne Woodley Terence and Ashleigh Craig; nephews, Lemonte A. Jackson and Keon Sellars; cousin Margaret F. Booker; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
