Mrs. Hattie Claudette Hill, was born to the lat Mamie and Alexander Richards on November 18, 1941. Hattie gained her education in the Baltimore city Public School System. Once she graduated from Carver vocational Technical High School, she worked as a Teacher's Aid, then later worked at Rosewood State Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. She worked various nursing homes before she started working at Genesis Elder Care in Catonsville, Maryland where she became a Certified Medical Aid and later worked as an Activity Director Assistant for the last two years. In March of 2010 she became ill and had to retire. Hattie had the love of life, music, shopping trips and casinos. Also she loved to keep her nails and hair done. But Hattie's greatest love of life was her family. Although Hattie was baptized at an early age, Hattie reaffirmed her commitment to God at Freedom Missionary Church in 2010. Hattie departed this life on September 30, 2012. She leaves to mourn; her loving husband of forty years, George Hill; five sons, Joseph, Thomas, Kevin, Randolph and Kenneth; and three daughters, Judy, Elesa and Karen daughter, Michele preceded her in death; two sons-in-law, Eric and Richard. She also leaves to mourn; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family friends.
