Hazel N. Wiley, daughter of Paul and Alma Nelson, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 11, 1919. Hazel departed this world on April 25, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Hazel received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She met and married John R. Wiley, Hazel had four children with this union. She worked as a waitress for a while. Hazel also worked for Arundel Ice Cream Company. She worked as a salesperson and later was made manager at the store she worked. Hazel was an active person. She loved music and dancing. She also loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hazel leaves to mourn: a devoted daughter, Deborah Wilson; daughter, Patricia Boulware; son, Alvin Wiley; and devoted granddaughter, Laverne Horton. Hazel also leaves fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, thirity-four great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
