On Saturday, Jung 15, 2013 at 6:15 a.m. God called one of His angels home. Helen Bradford Was born August 01, 1921. She was the daughter of the late William and Nannie Edmonds. Helen received the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at a very young age. She was very active in church Simmons Memorial and very active in the community. Helen met and fell in love with William Bradford, Sr. and from this union produces 15 children. Helen and William had been married for 70 years. Two children preceded her in death. Helen attended Robert Ellicot Brown, Henry WadsWorth Longfellow, Frederick Douglass, Morgan State and St. Paul School of Nursing. Helen leaves to cherish her memories her husband William Bradford, d>r., seven daughters; Harriette Bush (Randolph), Madeline Daughtrey (Alvin), Wilelmina Bradford, Carlene Bolden (William), Shirlene Powell (Rufus), Camilla Crump, Claudette Bradford. Six sons; William Bradford, Jr. (Cassandra), Ronald Bradford, Randolph Bradford (Cheryl), Reginald Bradford, Claude Bradford (Monique), Keith Bradford (Amy). Thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law Pearl Bradford and Gloria Bradford and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
