After a lengthy illness, God in His Infinite Wisdom, called Helen Patricia Lowery (née Reynolds) to her eternal rest.

Helen was born April 11, 1951 to Sissy and Roland Meads in Baltimore City. Both of them preceded her in death. To her family, she was known as Tunie. She attended Baltimore City Schools which included Garrison Junior High and was a graduate of the Class of 1969 Forest Park High School.

After graduating Forest Park, she furthered her education at Baltimore City Community College where she earned her Associate of Arts degree. Helen joined the Army reserves in 1975 until 1988. During that time, she was employed by the federal government in Fort Meade, MD, and held positions at Equitable Trust Bank and Coppin State University as a data entry expert. She also worked as a Baltimore County crossing guard until she became sick and had to retire.

She married the love of her life James Earl Lowery on June 6, 1986. James preceded her in death. From this union, they had one daughter, Patricia Siobhan, who was her pride and joy. When Patty attended school, Helen participated in the PTA and when Patty attended middle school, Helen volunteered as a cafeteria aide in her school. Helen was a proud member of the Booster Club, raising money for school sports while Patty was in high school.

Helen enjoyed a good party and she was the life of the party shaking her tambourine. Helen was a real people person and talked to anybody and everybody. She was such a generous person and would help anybody in need. Her hobbies included crocheting, an avid music lover, and good comedies. Helen was also a shopaholic.

Helen leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories: of her daughter, Patricia; her brother-in-law, Victor Lowery; longtime besties, Sylvia Wedlock, Sandra Roberts, Jackie Palmer, John and Marie Turpin, Sara DiLeonardi, along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
