Henry Green, Jr., son of the late Henry Green, Sr. and the late Herlease Green was born on April 28, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. Henry departed this life on Monday , July 16, 2012. He was son of eight children. Four brothers Kenneth, Elijah, Ralph and Samuel preceded him in death. He attended Frederick Douglas High School and received his diploma in 1965. "June", as he was affectionately known, also attended Baltimore City Community College. June served five years in the U.S. Navy. Upon his discharge, he was employed by the State of Maryland until he became disabled. June was baptized at and early age and became a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was kind-hearted person who love to engage his family and friends in conversation. His son, Kevin, who preceded him in death, was his pride and joy. June will be greatly missed by family and friends. His memory will always be cherished. He leaves to cherish these memories; his brother, Edgar Booker Green and his wife Claretta; his sisters, Ida Green and Jamelah Qudir Pearl Price of Connecticut and Edna Wilson; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Green; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
