Henry A. Mazyck, son of the late Edgar and Lucille Mazyck was born on June 5, 1940 in Mullins, South Carolina. He was "Called Home" on March 14,2015 after a short illness. On April 6, 1978 he married Carolyn Ward. The two of them shared nearly 37 years as one. Creating many beautiful memories traveling to various places. Henry attended public schools in Tabor City, North Carolina and in Baltimore, Maryland. As a student of Douglas Senior High School he obtained his high school diploma and then joined the Army and received an Honorable Discharge. Henry was a self-employed barber for over 50 years and retired in 2005. He was baptized in S. Carolina and found God. He joined New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland and received his discipleship, he also achieved the status of Master Masonry. There are so many lives in which Henry touched. Those that preceded him in death are his parents, his two sons, Henry Mazyck Jr. and Kevin Mazyck; one daughter, Tonya Mazyck; two brothers, Edgar "Bob" Mazyck and Franklin Dewitt and one sister, Faye Dewitt. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Carolyn Mazyck; sons, Andre Mazyck (Shameeka), Anthony Mazyck, Albert Harrison, Frederick and Eric Parker and Norman Henderson; daughters, Veronda Mazyck, Roslyn Hibbert (Elton), Alison Jones, Darlene Lewis (David) and Renee Harrison; brothers, Jesse Dewitt (Edna) and Michael Stanley; sisters, Janet Neil (Leroy) and Emma Carol Robinson (Anthony) and a granddaughter he raised, Joy Davis; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many many more.
