Herbert Henry Westbrook, son of the late Wade H. Westbrook, Sr. and Mamie Westbrook, was born on July 9, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on December 1, 2011. Herbert grew up in a religious family with both parents involved in the music ministry. He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. Herbert was employed at M & T Factory for a number of years. His first marriage ended in divorce and out of this union three daughters were born, Annetta, Alesia and Joanne. In later life he became the proud father of a son, Wade Westbrook, born to Doretha Gross, who departed this life in 1990. Upon his death he was married to Barbara Stamper Westbrook and became th stepfather of Denise and Melvin. West, had a very kind heart, he loved to dance, his favorite saying was, "When I was a Little Boy!" He leaves to mourn; his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Annette, Alesia and Joanne; one son, Wade; two stepchildren, Denise and Melvin; two daughter-in-law; India and Cynthia; two sons-in-law, Samuel and Darryl; one sister, Hattie; two brothers, Harvey and William; pne stepsister, Fannie; six sisters-in-law, Patricia, Delores, Nellie, Bernice, Jackie and Mary; three brothers-in-law, Melvin, Michael and Price; a host of grandchildren and a great-grandson. Herbert became the adopted father of Rhonda, Bernadine, Cybthia, Sharon, Anita, celestine, Allen, Jerome, James and Bernett deceased; and a host of other relatives and friends.
