On Wednesday, November 18,2015 at 2:15 am,
Mrs. Hilda Victoria Corbin, our beloved sister, aunt
and friend departed this life after a lengthy illness
at Future Care Sandtown Nursing Home, 1000 N.
Gilmor St. in room 302, Baltimore MD 21217.
Hilda was born on Sunday, January 7,1923 in
Baltimore, MD. She was the fifth child out of nine
children, born to the late Thomas Edward
Anderson, Sr. and Annie Anderson.
Her employment was with the Franklin Square
Hospital as a "Housekeeper" for a length of time.
Hilda left Franklin Square Hospital and later was
employed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel as a
"Housekeeper" for many years.
Aunt Hilda met a fine looking gentleman named
Homer Corbin. They fell in love and were married
in 1957 until his passing in November, 1984.
Hilda gave her life to Jesus in her early fifties.
Later she sought a church home and joined The
Central Baptist Church under the leadership of the
late Rev. Montague J. Brackett. Hilda served on the
usher board and was presented a "Distinguished
Service" certificate and medal from the Senior
Ushery Board of Central Baptist Church in 1994.
Yes, Aunt Hilda was a distinguished person. Stood
up for herself in many ways, fussed with her nieces
and nephews only to give them encouragement and
hope to become better young adults.
Hilda Victoria Corbin leaves to cherish her loving

. McCormick, 1 brother-in-law, Oneil McCormick,
1 Godson/nephew, Rev. Joseph Woodson, 1 step-
