Hilton Jadmes Gregory Sr., son of the late Willie and Lottie Gregory, was born January 9, 1949. On Monday, Febuary 19, 2007, he was called home to be with his Savior after a lengthy illness. He attended public schools in Baltimore, Maryland. On November 6, 1967, he entered the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. Hilton was wounded during his acts of bravery and recieved on of the nation's ahighest honors, ''The Purple Heart.'' On November 26, 1970 he was honorably discharged. He was employed with the United States Post Office in the early 80's until the early 90's. Hilton enjoyed singing, hanging out on the porch, with the Thomas Avenue crew; especially Russell Colston b.k.a. ''Rock Bottom,'' Frankie Carter b.k.a. ''Bay,'' Robert Hall and Big Brother, Robert Gregory. Hillton was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie James Gregory Jr. and Harry Anthony Gregory. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted children, Sebrina Michelle, Hilton Jr. Boop, Ontaria Tara; grandchild, Desiree' Singleton; two sisters, Delores Daughtery and Martha Crowder; brother, Robert Gregory; special friend, Lynette Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephes, cousins and friends.
