The Obituary Horace Harold Drown (Pop), son of the late Horace and Mildred Brown was born on January 4, 1934 in St. Mary's County. He departed his life on December 22, 2020 with devoted wife and daughter by his side. Affectionately known as Pop, received his education from Baltimore City Public School System.

Horace worked at the YWCA for 28 years and was a member of the New Psalmist Baptist Church

Horace was proceeded in death by his brothers Phillip, Jerome, Clarence, and James brown. He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving and caring wife, Shirley, two daughters Peggy Ayers and Hortense Paul four grandchildren Kelly Daly, Marc, Nigel, and Jamal Ayers. Four great grandchildren Startasia Allen, Antonio and Jayden Daly, Jashawn Ayers. Two great grandchildren Zhane Ayers and Nayla Ayers, one sister Florine Brown, brothers Ricky and Joseph Brown and a host of relatives and friends.
